The 25th edition of the *Lire en Polynésie* book fair will be held from November 20 to 23, 2025 at the Maison de la Culture in Papeete, Tahiti.
The event gives Polynesian readers the chance to meet local, Pacific and international authors at literary discussions, book presentations and book signings. The aim is to encourage access to culture, promote the French-speaking world and support the book trade, while bringing together the players in this local industry.
This year's event will once again take place in a hybrid format, enabling remote or impeded audiences to experience these four days of literary celebration via live broadcasts on various platforms (Facebook and YouTube). Workshops with schoolchildren on the islands will also be offered to encourage participation by younger children.
