Villa Iris is set in the heart of an exotic garden in the Pihaena district, between the two bays on the north side of the island of Moorea.
This vacation rental comprises two separate, independent areas:
A villa on the mountain side, nestled in a garden planted with trees and flowers, with covered parking.
A seaside area accessible by crossing the small road in front of the property.
The house, built in a colonial style, has two vast covered terraces, ideal for enjoying the breeze that flows through the tropical garden.
On the first floor of the main house, you'll find the living room with kitchenette, the air-conditioned master bedroom with bathroom, and a lounge opening onto a very large covered terrace, furnished in local colors and overlooking the garden. The house has no television.
Upstairs, the mezzanine houses a second bedroom with 4 single beds (two of which can be made into a double), as well as a third bedroom with a double bed and a second bathroom. Both rooms are also air-conditioned for the comfort of guests.
Villa Iris pays homage to its Polynesian origins through its decorative exterior features, exotic wood structure and warm, colorful interior.
The seafront invites you to escape in a "Robinson Crusoe" spirit. After crossing the main road, a gate opens onto a natural area bordering the lagoon.
This toes-in-the-sand corner gives access to a superb coral garden in the lagoon. This is a relaxing area typical of the Tuamotu islets, with a small white sand beach and a shallow lagoon home to a rich marine fauna. A covered, shaded area is available for waterside lunches. Please note that this area has no electricity supply (no plugs or fridge). We therefore recommend using it during the day rather than in the evening.
An outdoor shower and two kayaks are available for exploring the surrounding lagoon.
After a dip in the lagoon, you can marvel at the superb sunsets.
