The Homeland Square
The war memorial honoring Tahitian troops killed in the First World War can be found in Avenue Pouvanaa a Oopa, the main avenue leading to the presidential palace. It was built in 1928 and is decorated with French and Tahitian symbols in honor of those who perished.
