Dolphin and whale watching
The tour lasts between 3 and 4 hours and is divided into 3 stages: (one tour in the morning and one in the afternoon)

- Stage 1: stop on the sandbar to swim with the Blacktip stingrays and sharks (we do not feed).

- Stage 2: walk through a pass to observe dolphins from the boat.

- Stage 3 (the longest) out to sea to look for and observe whales from the boat, and launch if conditions permit to swim with the whales.

On board, you are accompanied by a captain and a guide, both of whom are regularly trained in first aid at sea.

The order of the stages is subject to change. Our priority is whale watching from the boat and swimming (you don't have to go in the water).

If the captain has heard that a humpback whale is close to the starting point, he may take you directly there, and do the other stages at the end of the excursion. (or not, depending on timing and time spent whale-watching).

While you're sailing to the open sea, the guide will give you a whole range of explanations: on how the excursion works, on safety rules, on cetaceans, including those you may encounter on the excursion (other species may be encountered), etc. You're welcome to ask any questions you may have, as the guide is there for you.

As far as the launch is concerned, the guide is with you in the water to ensure the best conditions for observation and safety. There may even be several launches during the trip. On the other hand, sometimes it's impossible to do so, depending on weather conditions and, above all, the behavior of the cetaceans - a whale that's too elusive, for example. Polynesia has very strict rules for approaching marine animals. It is also forbidden to snorkel or scuba dive with cetaceans.

Remember to bring sun protection, towels and a warm change of clothes, as it can get cold on the boat at high speed. If you have wetsuits so you don't get cold while swimming, you can bring them too.

For more information, please visit our website.

If you choose a private boat, we can tailor the whale watching trip to your wishes.

Cetaceans are wild animals. During the research phase, their observation or launching is not guaranteed, nor is good weather!
