ParauParau Tahiti – PPT 2023

For the first time since 2019, Tahiti Tourisme, in partnership with Air Tahiti Nui, is pleased to announce the next ParauParau Tahiti – PPT face-to-face , in Tahiti, on January 31 and February 1, 2023.

The event will bring together, in Tahiti, product managers from the main outbound markets of the Asia, Pacific, Europe and Americas regions and Polynesian tourism stakeholders.

The principle

Thanks to the support of Air Tahiti Nui, official air carrier of the ParauParau Tahiti – PPT 2023, the product managers of the main tour operators from the main issuing markets New Zealand, Australia, France, Italy, Germany, England, South America, Mexico, United States, Canada, Japan, China and South Korea will be invited to Tahiti to meet local tourism professionals. Polynesian tourism professionals will have the opportunity to meet, during 2 days of meetings, the product managers who have responded. The first professional event in Tahiti since 2019, ParauParau Tahiti – PPT 2023 is thus positioned as a platform for exchanges in order to restore and strengthen relations with the international influencers of the destination on the one hand and to ensure the maintenance of the programming of The Islands of Tahiti in all its diversity on the other source markets.

The two days of meetings will be preceded or followed by familiarization trips for the product managers present who have opted to participate in the educational tours organized by Tahiti Tourisme.

ParauParau Tahiti - PPT Online 2021

Tahiti Tourisme had the pleasure of organizing ParauParau Tahiti – PPT  Online 2021, which brought together product managers from the Asia, Europe, America and Pacific regions with professionals of the local tourist industry, from May 17th to May 21st 2021.

This year, Tahiti Tourisme staged the first virtual edition of the event to enable product managers and local tourism professionals to meet each other, despite the existing health crisis and travel restrictions.

Objective:

Organized in partnership with Air Tahiti Nui, the ParauParau Tahiti – PPT Online 2021 took place online from monday 17th to friday 21st May 2021 at the web address: www.ppt2021.vfairs.com

Each local partner (exhibitor) could personalize his virtual stand and « welcome » international product managers (visitors) for individual 15 minute video conference sessions.

Tour operators from 20 countries (China, Japan, South Korea, New Zealand, Australia, United States, Canada, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Brazil, France, Luxembourg, Belgium, Italy, United Kingdom, Germany, Switzerland, Spain) took part in this year’s event.

Local partners also had access to the conference room where they could watch videos from 7 different markets (France, Germany, Italy, United States, Canada, Australia/New Zealand and Japan) which outlined the distribution networks, travel tendencies and expectations of the tour operators in each market.

ParauParau Tahiti - PPT 2019

Tahiti Tourisme a eu le plaisir d’organiser le ParauParau Tahiti – PPT  2019 qui a réuni les chefs de produits des régions Europe, Amériques et Pacifique et les acteurs touristiques locaux les 20, 21 et 22 mars 2019 à la Présidence de la Polynésie française.

Le principe

Grâce au concours d’Air Tahiti Nui, transporteur aérien officiel du ParauParau Tahiti – PPT 2019, les chefs de produit des principaux tour-opérateurs des marchés Nouvelle-Zélande, Australie, France, Italie, Allemagne, Angleterre, Amérique du Sud (Brésil, Chili, Colombie et Argentine), Etats-Unis et Canada se sont déplacés à Tahiti afin de rencontrer les professionnels du tourisme local. Les professionnels polynésiens du tourisme ont eu l’opportunité de rencontrer, durant 3 journées de rendez-vous, près de 70 chefs de produit. ParauParau Tahiti – PPT se positionne ainsi comme une plateforme d’échanges afin de permettre d’établir et renforcer les relations avec les prescripteurs internationaux de la destination d’une part et d’optimiser la commercialisation de la destination d’autre part.

Les trois journées de rendez-vous étaient précédées ou suivies de voyages de familiarisation dans les îles de Tahiti, Moorea, Huahine, Raiatea, Taha’a, Bora Bora, Rangiroa, Tikehau, Ahe et Hiva Oa pour les chefs de produit présents qui ont opté de participer aux éductours organisés par Tahiti Tourisme.

Les 3 journées se sont déroulées à la Présidence de la Polynésie française. Étaient présents les tour-opérateurs de Nouvelle-Zélande, Australie, France, Italie, Allemagne, Angleterre, Amérique du Sud (Brésil, Chili, Colombie et Argentine), Etats-Unis et Canada.

Tahiti Tourisme had the pleasure of organizing the 3rd ParauParau Tahiti – PPT  which brought together product managers from the Europe region and local tourism professionals on June 13th and 14th, 2018.

Objective:

Thanks to our partnership with Air Tahiti Nui, the official airline of ParauParau Tahiti – PPT Europe, the product managers of the principal tour operators of the France, Italy, Germany, Great Britain, Switzerland, Spain and Belgium markets were brought to Tahiti to meet local tourism professionals, who aren’t always able to visit those markets themselves. During two days of one on one meetings ParauParau Tahiti – PPT proved itself to be a platform for strengthening relations with the tour operators and optimizing the commercialization of the destination, The Islands of Tahiti.

The two days of meetings were followed by familiarization trips to the islands of Tahiti, Moorea, Huahine, Raiatea, Taha’a, Bora Bora, Rangiroa, Tikehau, and Hiva Oa for the product managers who were present.

    Tahiti Tourisme had the pleasure of organizing the first edition of ParauParau Tahiti – PPT  which brought together product managers from the Pacific / America region and local tourism professionals on 19th and 20th March, 2018.

    Objective:

    The product managers of the principal tour operators of the Australia, New Zealand, United States, Canada, Brazil, Argentina, Chile and Columbia markets were brought to Tahiti to meet local tourism professionals, who aren’t always able to visit those markets themselves. During two days of one on one meetings ParauParau Tahiti – PPT proved itself to be a platform for strengthening relations with tour operators and optimizing the commercialization of the destination, The Islands of Tahiti.

    During the 2 days, 4 panel discussions were also organized with speakers from Tahiti Tourisme and the tour operators and were open to participants of ParauParau Tahiti – PPT .

    The themes were:

    • Opportunities for developing the number of tourists from the USA
    • Opportunities for developing the number of tourists from Canada
    • Opportunities for developing the number of tourists from Australia and New Zealand
    • Opportunities for developing the number of tourists from South America

    The two days were preceded or followed by familiarization trips to our islands for the product managers who were present.

    Objective:

    With the assistance of Air Tahiti Nui, product managers from the major tour operators in the Japan, China and South Korea markets were brought to Tahiti to meet local tourism professionals, who aren’t always able to visit those markets themselves. During two days of one on one meetings ParauParau Tahiti – PPT proved itself to be a platform for strengthening relations with the tour operators and optimizing the commercialization of the destination, The Islands of Tahiti.

    During the two-day event, a panel discussion was organized with speakers from Tahiti Tourisme and the tour operator, and was open to participants of ParauParau Tahiti – PPT Asia: The theme of the discussion was: Tahiti Tourisme Asia: Opportunities for developing the number of tourists from Japan, China and South Korea.

    The two days of meetings were followed by familiarization trips to the islands of Huahine, Bora Bora, Raiatea and Taha’a for the product managers who were present.
