Recognition for inclusive tourism
Tahiti Tourisme, in collaboration with its US public relations agency 360view, recently won a PRism Award from the Public Relations Society of America – Los Angeles Chapter, in the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion category.
The award was given in recognition of the communication campaign dedicated to LGBTQ+ travellers, entitled“The Treasured Test in The Islands of Tahiti“. In keeping with the welcoming spirit that characterises Tahiti Et Ses Îles, this initiative aimed to position the destination as an inclusive place for LGBTQ+ travellers.
Thanks to partnerships with influential voices in the LGBTQ+ community and a targeted dissemination strategy, the campaign generated 37 media hits on digital, print and social media, including two covers in OUT Traveler and Passport Magazine. Together, these actions reached an estimated audience of over 3.4 billion people.
This recognition reflects the shared commitment of Tahiti Tourisme and its partners to promoting a destination where every traveller feels seen, respected and celebrated.
