Join Tahiti Tourisme

Become a member of the GIE. Vote on strategies, take part in AGMs and Board meetings. Legal commitment in accordance with articles L 251 et seq. of the French Commercial Code.

Taking part in General Meetings

What is it?

Becoming a member of an Economic Interest Group legally commits you in accordance with the provisions of the French Commercial Code (articles L 251 et seq.)

Participate in

General Meetings

Joining and becoming a member of Tahiti Tourisme grants the right to attend all General Meetings and to take part in discussions and voting. The General Meeting is responsible, among other things, for approving the accounts, the budget for the coming year, the amount of annual subscriptions and the promotional strategy of the Economic Interest Group.

Tahiti Tourisme members receive all documentation relating to action plans for the coming year, as well as budgets.

Vote

Strategies

At the General Meeting, members also vote to appoint, reappoint or dismiss directors, and to adopt or amend the Group’s Articles of Association. Lastly, the General Meeting receives a report on the Group’s activities and situation for the year ending.

Once you are a member of Tahiti Tourisme, you can stand for election as a director and sit on the Board of Directors.

Membership applications are open to any individual company or legal entity carrying on an economic activity in French Polynesia that contributes to the development of tourism in the territory.
