Membership of Tahiti Tourisme not only allows you to take part in the various general meetings, but also to appoint or dismiss the members of the Board of Directors, who are drawn from 7 professional colleges, and to benefit from special advantages such as : Discounts (up to 15%) and priority on registrations for local trade fairs/workshops/events (Tourism fairs, ParauParau Tahiti – PPT, Tahiti Travel Exchange/ Tere Na Uta, Tere Fa’a’ati ia Tahiti Nui, Tere Na Tai / Diving fairs, ILTM Cannes, advertising space on our Travel Planner, etc.); Promotion of the activity on our communication media (in particular our websites and our Travel Planner…) and to be favoured during the organisation of familiarisation and press trips (in particular during the design of itineraries) Communication of your specific information in our newsletters (excluding promotional offers).

Specific to Federations/Groups

Associations/unions that group together several different structures in the same sector of activity: membership gives the right to membership of the Association or Federation but not to their members unless they join Tahiti Tourisme individually. Hotel management companies linked by management agreement to their client establishments: their client establishments are members of Tahiti Tourisme . Shareholding companies made up of several establishments: their establishments are also members of Tahiti Tourisme .

To join, you must complete the Tahiti Tourisme membership contract and return it duly completed, together with all the supporting documents requested, to Mrs Hélène RIES (hries@tahititourisme.org) or by post to the following address, TAHITI TOURISME – Gare Maritime, 2ème étage, Boulevard Pomare – BP 65 – 98 713 Papeete. Once the membership application has been received, and provided that the file is complete (all the requested attachments), it will be put on the agenda of the next General Meeting for approval (in general, 2 meetings per year in June/July and November/December). This membership contract will come into effect once it has been validated by the General Meeting of members, which constitutes the membership date and the starting point for the calculation of the annual fee on a pro rata basis. Becoming a member of an Economic Interest Group legally commits you in accordance with the provisions of the French Commercial Code (articles L 251 et seq.).

Taking part in General Meetings

What is it?

Becoming a member of an Economic Interest Group legally commits you in accordance with the provisions of the French Commercial Code (articles L 251 et seq.)

Participate in

General Meetings

Joining and becoming a member of Tahiti Tourisme grants the right to attend all General Meetings and to take part in discussions and voting. The General Meeting is responsible, among other things, for approving the accounts, the budget for the coming year, the amount of annual subscriptions and the promotional strategy of the Economic Interest Group.

Tahiti Tourisme members receive all documentation relating to action plans for the coming year, as well as budgets.

Vote

Strategies

At the General Meeting, members also vote to appoint, reappoint or dismiss directors, and to adopt or amend the Group’s Articles of Association. Lastly, the General Meeting receives a report on the Group’s activities and situation for the year ending.

Once you are a member of Tahiti Tourisme, you can stand for election as a director and sit on the Board of Directors.
