For this 29th edition, and as usual, a number of exhibitors from the 5 archipelagos will be on hand to welcome visitors during the 3-day Tourism Fair. For visitors, this event is an opportunity to meet the Polynesian tourism players from the outlying islands and talk directly to them about the promotional offers they will be putting on for the occasion.
The riches of the Tuamotu Islands will be on show at the Parc Expo in Mamao. A number of new features will also be on show, including a flight simulator and new exhibitors taking part in the Tourism Fair for the first time, such as the Hei O Kauehi and Kena Family guesthouses.
For its first participation, the Hilton Hôtel Tahiti has planned special offers for overnight stays or one of the hotel’s three restaurants, which are now open. To mark the occasion, the resort has set up a virtual queuing system, which will allow visitors to be notified by text message when their turn comes. It’s a digital innovation that will save precious time for visitors curious to discover what the resort has to offer!
For the first time, the Aranui will also be offering a 5-day cruise to the Tuamotus. The cruise will run from 28 April to 2 May. The cruise will dock on the islands of Makatea and Anaa and end in Tautira before anchoring again in the port of Papeete.
This year’s edition will also give residents the opportunity to pre-book their Air Tahiti tickets online, prior to the opening of the Tourism Fair, to facilitate access to the Air Tahiti stand and save time for visitors. As usual, plane tickets will be up for grabs in a prize draw for travel to the islands with Air Tahiti.
