Diadème De La Reine

Te Hena o Mai'o, or as it's more commonly known "The Queen's Diadem", is a peak in the municipality of Paea on the island of Tahiti. Visible from the main road, it gets its name from the shape of its summit, which resembles a diadem. It is possible to hike to the summit from where the view is breathtaking over the valleys of Fatua and Punaruu. It is a challenging hike that takes 2 days and you need to be accompanied by a guide. The scenery is magnificent and dotted with interesting and surprising natural sites.
