The Beach Club restaurant at Matira presents a mural fresco ten meters long which relates the story of Operation Bobcat, the American occupation of Bora Bora during WW2. The superb illustrations are the work of the celebrated graphic artist, Jean-Louis Saquet, and the texts are in French and English. Entry is free of charge.
