This activity offers boat excursions dedicated to observing humpback whales around Rimatara during their seasonal presence in our waters.

All outings take place aboard the HAARUA III (PY 40005 PE), operated by a certified and experienced captain, with the assistance of a specialized aquatic hiking guide. Each excursion lasts approximately 3 hours and is conducted in small groups to ensure a safe, respectful, and enriching experience. The activity includes whale watching, educational information about the whales and their behavior, and the possibility of snorkeling depending on safety conditions. All necessary equipment can be rented on site. A refreshment is offered upon return to the dock after each excursion (fresh juice, snack, local preparation). The goal is to provide a unique experience focused on discovering humpback whales and promoting the marine heritage of Rimatara.
