An unmissable event to immerse yourself in the world of tifaifai.
From April 20 to 25, 2026, the Assembly of French Polynesia will host the 25th edition of the Tifaifai Fair, organized by the Te Api Nui o te Tifaifai association.
For six days, come discover the talent of 30 artisans specializing in the art of tifaifai and traditional jewelry, through unique creations rich in meaning and history.
The event revolves around two themes:
The Bridal Bouquet & The Lily of the Valley
These themes will feature two separate contests:
• Contest #1 - Creating an embroidery piece on the theme of the bridal bouquet
• Contest #2 - Creating a table runner on the theme of the lily of the valley
Participants will have four days to complete their pieces. The awards ceremony will take place on Saturday, April 25.
