As part of the start of the new school year in August 2026, Te Fare Tauhiti Nui – Maison de la Culture will open its doors to the public on Saturday, August 8, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., for a day dedicated to discovery, learning, and sharing.
On this occasion, the center will present its new lineup of classes and workshops for children, teens, and adults. This expanded offering complements the activities already available, making cultural, artistic, and linguistic practices increasingly accessible to as many people as possible.
Throughout the day, visitors will be able to:
*meet the teachers and instructors;
*explore all the disciplines on offer;
*participate in free introductory and discovery sessions;
*register directly for classes for the 2026 semester.
The libraries at Te Fare Tauhiti Nui will also be open throughout the event, allowing the public to explore their spaces and collections.
Snacks, provided by the event’s partners, will be offered to visitors throughout the day.

Registration
Registration can be completed in person at the Te Fare Tauhiti Nui front desk throughout the open house.
Semester Fees
*Adults: 21,000 CFP francs (15 sessions)
*Children: 12,000 CFP francs (10 sessions)
