The most beautiful black sand beach on the east coast

Point Venus is in Mahina, in the north of the island of Tahiti, reputed for its magnificent beach of black sand and its historic lighthouse. It is close to the barrier reef and is an ideal spot to spend a relaxing day at the beach, with superb views of the bay of Matavai and the island of Moorea. There are restaurants and a craft shop close to the beach.
