The turtle dive site
The dive site named "la Source" (the spring) at PK14 in Punaauia, is one of the best dives on the west coast of Tahiti. With depths of between 4 and 35 meters. It takes about 15 minutes to reach the site by boat. It gets its name from the freshwater spring which emerges at a depth of 8 meters. It is suitable for all divers, who will be able to admire the coral reef, tropical fish and sharks. But the main attraction at this site is the sea turtles who come to sleep on the coral.
