The Tahiti ‘Ūrī Days are returning on September 25 and 26, 2026, in Pirae. Admission is free, and the event is open to everyone.
The goal is to raise awareness about animal welfare, responsible pet ownership, and the prevention of stray animals and abandonment, as well as to recognize those committed to animal protection in French Polynesia.
Friday, September 25, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.: a cultural evening dedicated to the role of dogs in Polynesian culture, featuring lectures, meet-and-greets, and discussions.
Saturday, September 26, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.: a big family day featuring:
exhibitors and professionals from the animal world;
talks;
dog training and dog sports demonstrations;
educational and hands-on workshops;
entertainment, gifts, and surprises.
Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a leash and wear a muzzle if necessary. However, they are not permitted in the conference hall.
Tuaiva Kahealani and Mouiline will be the official hosts and influencers for this event.
Join us on September 25 and 26, 2026, in the gardens of the Pirae Town Hall for a weekend dedicated to the dogs of the fenua.
