With over 40 years of expertise and passion for Marquesan sculpture, Etienne now opens the doors of his workshop to everyone wishing to discover this ancestral Marquesan art form. Over a morning or afternoon session, come learn directly from a recognized local artisan, keeper of a know-how passed down through generations. Under his guidance, you'll carve your own stick or other piece, depending on available materials, and take home your own handmade creation. An authentic and immersive experience, available every day, suitable for all levels. A wonderful way to understand — and bring home — a piece of Marquesan culture, in the heart of Nuku Hiva.
