The competition was open to young people aged between 10 and 18 who are residents of French Polynesia. Participants were able to submit individual or group entries (from a minimum of 2 people to a maximum of 5) in the following categories:
Drawing: Drawings had to represent the theme of sustainable tourism. Category open to individual participants only with two categories from 10 to 14 years old and 15 to 18 years old.
Video: Each video had to be no longer than 60 seconds to illustrate sustainable tourism. This category was open to individuals or groups, with two categories for each: 10 to 14 year-olds and 15 to 18 year-olds.
Entries could be submitted online or dropped off in person at Fare Manihini.
