Like its poster campaign launched in 2018, Tahiti Tourisme has launched a video casting to select the next muses of its local campaign!

Published on 9 February 2026

A famous caravan evening, a unique diving session, a Tahitian dance lesson, a breathtaking stone-raising, a hilarious fafaru tasting, a sporty paddle afternoon, a sublime sunset… Whether they’re funny, moving, surprising, warm or simply unforgettable, we’re interested in the local memories shared with tourists!

What does casting involve?

The “Tell your best memory with a tourist” campaign is a casting call that ran from 1 to 31 October 2019.

This casting put a point of honour on the population which is actor and contributor. To do this, participants had to share in a video of around 1 minute, the best memory they had experienced with a tourist (or a group of tourists), whether it was a service rendered or a moment shared.

At the end of the competition on 31 October, the winners were chosen to become the next ambassadors of the 2020 awareness campaign.

To help inspire the public, Tahiti Tourisme enlisted the support of 5 local personalities:
