“Let your emotions guide you”, The Islands of Tahiti new advertising campaign

By entering the 3rd phase of its 2030 Sustainable Tourism Plan, Tahiti Tourisme is confirming its ambition to make tourism a positive force for the population, the environment and the traveller experience. More than 110 actions are planned, based on three pillars: protection of natural resources, social and economic benefits for local residents, and cultural and environmental preservation.

The journey of a lifetime

Tahiti Tourisme is launching its new awareness campaign, “Let your emotions guide you”. An inspiring 90-second video, shot on four emblematic islands and available in several formats in 14 countries and 9 languages. The campaign is based on the brand concept of “Reconnect with what’s essential in The Islands of Tahiti “. It invites travellers to enjoy a unique and authentic experience, guided by the emotions that each island and landscape can bring.

Based on the idea that The Islands of Tahiti can be felt as much as contemplated, the video “Let your emotions guide you” plunges travellers into an immersive experience where every moment is an invitation to discover. Supported by an evocative voice-over and spellbinding images, it illustrates the diversity of emotions that punctuate the journey: the adrenalin of exhilarating adventures, the tranquillity of moments of contemplation and the wonder of a vibrant and authentic culture.

From the iconic stilt bungalows of Bora Bora, floating on a turquoise lagoon surrounded by lush mountains, to the spectacular cliff-side caves of Rurutu, to the wild horses of Nuku Hiva, each island reveals a unique facet of the destination. This campaign highlights the richness and diversity of the experiences to be had, offering a journey where every moment is an unforgettable discovery.

“This campaign aims to share the soul of our islands – the emotions, experiences and wonder that make The Islands of Tahiti a unique destination. We invite travellers to fully immerse themselves in our breathtaking landscapes and feel the powerful energy that inhabits every shore, valley and lagoon. Whether it’s the call of adventure – a horseback ride along the beaches of Nuku Hiva, exploring the caves of Rurutu – or the serenity of a sunset on Bora Bora, here, Mana is present. Each island has its own rhythm, its own story to tell, and through this journey, we hope visitors will not only discover our islands, but also make a deeper connection with themselves.”

Through striking images, the main video conveys with intensity the deep sense of connection that unites all things in The Islands of Tahiti, a sensation that the inhabitants call Mana. This vital force, omnipresent in Polynesian nature and culture, is revealed to those who open themselves up to this fascinating universe.

Designed and produced in partnership with Tahiti Tourisme‘s international creative agency, Circul8, this campaign highlights the warm welcome and unforgettable landscapes to be found in the five archipelagos of The Islands of Tahiti. It is also part of a drive to diversify tourism, encouraging visitors to explore all five archipelagos, well beyond the main islands.

“Let Your Emotions Guide You” marks a new stage in the positioning of The Islands of Tahiti as a sustainable and inclusive destination. This initiative values the preservation of local traditions, while offering rich and authentic experiences that meet the expectations of the most demanding travellers.
