Accommodation is a key element in the organisation of a film shoot in Tahiti & Her Islands. Discover the solutions available to accommodate your crews, from land-based accommodation to mobile options tailored to productions.

Floating accommodation

Providing both inter-island transport and accommodation, the boats offer total adaptability, from catamarans available by the day or over several days, to luxury cruises with over a hundred cabins, and already privatised for a major film shoot. Other ships serve the Marquesas and Austral Islands, offering luxury cabins and service.

Accommodation on land

In Tahiti, Moorea and Bora Bora, the 5-star hotels are internationally renowned:

Sofitel, Saint-Régis, Intercontinental, Four Seasons, Relais & Châteaux, Conrad and Hilton from the same group. There is also the Brando, an Eco Resort just a 20-minute flight from Tahiti.

Manava and Pearl Resorts are 4-star hotel chains with a quality offering on the islands of Tahiti, Moorea, Bora Bora, Tikehau and Nuku Hiva. The Kia Ora in Rangiroa is of the same high standard.

Le Maitai and Le Royal are charming local 3-star hotel chains in Tahiti, Bora Bora, Huahine and Rangiroa.

The Petite Hôtellerie Familiale – between 3 and 12 rooms – or family guesthouses offer an authentic half-board stay with local people or in independent bungalows. With a wide range of accommodation on offer, there are 2 similar ratings to assess the setting and aesthetic appeal, comfort, hygiene, safety and catering.

The Tourism Department’s classification, represented by tiara flowers (1 to 4). It also takes into account the commitment to sustainable development.
