Getting around
in Tahiti and Her IslandsMoorea, Tahiti’s sister island, is linked by a daily shuttle service just 30 minutes away by boat.
Air Tahiti, the local airline, connects 47 of the 118 islands in the region. From Tahiti it operates daily flights to Bora Bora, Raiatea (with access to Tahaa, which shares its lagoon) and Huahine in the Society Islands, Rangiroa and Tikehau in the Tuamotu Islands, and Nuku Hiva and Hiva Oa in the Marquesas Islands.
Various car and 2-wheel hire options are available on each island.
