The 2026 edition of Parauparau Tahiti was held on 19 and 20 February 2026 at the Hilton Tahiti Hotel, in partnership with Air Tahiti Nui.

Tour operators from our Pacific and North American markets – including New Zealand, Australia, Mexico, the United States and Canada – were invited to Tahiti to meet and exchange ideas with our local tourism professionals.

The two-day event was complemented by fam trips organised before or after the event, enabling product managers to discover the full diversity and authenticity of The Islands of Tahiti through itineraries carefully designed by Tahiti Tourisme.

In partnership with Air Tahiti Nui, Tahiti Tourisme organised the Tahiti 2023 ParauParau in Tahiti on 31 January and 1 February.

The event brought together product managers from the main outbound markets in the Pacific, Europe and North America regions and key players in Polynesian tourism.

The principle

Thanks to the support of Air Tahiti Nui, the official airline of the ParauParau Tahiti – PPT 2023, product managers from the main tour operators in the main outbound markets of New Zealand, Australia, France, Italy, Germany, England, Mexico, the United States and Canada were invited to Tahiti to meet local tourism professionals. Polynesian tourism professionals had the opportunity to meet the product managers who attended the 2-day event. The first trade event to be held in Tahiti since 2019, ParauParau Tahiti – PPT 2023 has positioned itself as a platform for exchanges to help re-establish and strengthen relations with the destination’s international influencers on the one hand, and to ensure the continued programming of The Islands of Tahiti in all its diversity on the outbound markets on the other.

The two days of meetings were preceded or followed by familiarisation trips for the product managers present who had chosen to take part in eductours organised by Tahiti Tourisme.

ParauParau Tahiti - PPT Online 2021

Tahiti Tourisme had the pleasure of organising the ParauParau Tahiti – PPT Online 2021, which brought together product managers from the Asia, Europe, Americas and Pacific regions and local tourism stakeholders from 17 May to 21 May 2021.

This year, Tahiti Tourisme proposed the very first virtual edition of the event to enable local tourism partners and product managers to meet and exchange ideas despite the current health situation and travel restrictions.

The principle

Organised in partnership with Air Tahiti Nui, the ParauParau Tahiti – PPT Online 2021 took place online from Monday 17 to Friday 21 May 2021 (Tahiti time) on the www.ppt2021.vfairs.com platform.
Each local partner (exhibitor) was able to customise its virtual stand and “receive” the international product managers (visitors) during individual 15-minute video-conference meetings.

This year, tour operators from 20 countries (China, Japan, South Korea, New Zealand, Australia, United States, Canada, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Brazil, France, Luxembourg, Belgium, Italy, United Kingdom, Germany, Switzerland and Spain) took part in the event.

Local partners were also able to access the conference room to view videos on demand. These included 7 panel discussions (France, Germany, Italy, United States, Canada, Australia/New Zealand and Japan) giving an overview of the state of the distribution network, travel trends and the expectations of tour operators in each of these markets.

ParauParau Tahiti - PPT 2019

Tahiti Tourisme had the pleasure of organising the ParauParau Tahiti – PPT 2019, which brought together product managers from the Europe, Americas and Pacific regions and local tourism stakeholders on 20, 21 and 22 March 2019 at the Presidency of French Polynesia.

The principle

Thanks to the support of Air Tahiti Nui, official airline of the ParauParau TahitiPPT 2019, product managers from the main tour operators in the New Zealand, Australia, France, Italy, Germany, England, South America (Brazil, Chile, Colombia and Argentina), United States and Canada markets travelled to Tahiti to meet local tourism professionals. Over the course of 3 days, Polynesian tourism professionals had the opportunity to meet nearly 70 product managers. ParauParau Tahiti– PPT is positioned as a platform for establishing and strengthening relationships with the destination’s international influencers and for optimising the destination’s marketing.

The three days of meetings were preceded or followed by familiarisation trips to the islands of Tahiti, Moorea, Huahine, Raiatea, Taha’a, Bora Bora, Rangiroa, Tikehau, Ahe and Hiva Oa for the product managers present who had opted to take part in the eductours organised by Tahiti Tourisme.

The 3 days were held at the Presidency of French Polynesia. Tour operators from New Zealand, Australia, France, Italy, Germany, the UK, South America (Brazil, Chile, Colombia and Argentina), the USA and Canada were present.

Tahiti Tourisme had the pleasure of organising the 3rd ParauParau Tahiti – PPT, which brought together product managers from the Europe region and local tourism stakeholders on 13 and 14 June 2018.

The principle:

Thanks to the support of Air Tahiti Nui, official air carrier of the ParauParau TahitiPPT Europe, product managers from the main tour operators in the France, Italy, Germany, England, Switzerland, Spain and Belgium markets travelled to Tahiti to meet local tourism professionals (who do not all have the opportunity to travel to the markets) to take part in two days of personalised meetings. ParauParau Tahiti– PPT is positioned as a platform for exchanges to strengthen relations with tour operators on the one hand, and to optimise the marketing of the destination on the other.

The two days of meetings were followed by familiarisation trips to the islands of Tahiti, Moorea, Huahine, Raiatea, Taha’a, Bora Bora, Rangiroa, Tikehau and Hiva Oa for the product managers present.

Tahiti Tourisme had the pleasure of organising the 1st ParauParau Tahiti – PPT, which brought together product managers from the Pacific / Americas regions and local tourism stakeholders on 19 and 20 March 2018.

The principle:

Product managers from the main tour operators in the Australia, New Zealand, United States, Canada, Brazil, Argentina, Chile and Colombia markets travelled to Tahiti to meet local professionals (who do not all have the opportunity to travel to the markets) to take part in two days of personalised meetings. ParauParau Tahiti – PPT is positioned as a platform for exchanges to strengthen relations with tour operators on the one hand and to optimise the marketing of the destination on the other.

Over the course of the 2 days, 4 discussion panels were also organised alongside the meetings. These panels were open to participants in the ParauParau Tahiti – PPT, with speakers including tour operators and Tahiti Tourisme representatives:

  • Opportunities for increasing the number of tourists from the United States
  • Opportunities to increase the number of tourists from Canada
  • Opportunities to increase the number of tourists from Australia and New Zealand
  • Opportunities for increasing the number of tourists from South America

The two days of meetings were also preceded or followed by familiarisation trips to our islands for the product managers present.

ParauParau Tahiti – PPT Pacific / Americas: 19 and 20 March 2018 – (registration closed)

Tahiti Tourisme had the pleasure of organising the 2nd ParauParau Tahiti – PPT , which brought together product managers from the Asia region and local tourism stakeholders on 29 and 30 May 2018.

The principle:

Product managers from the main tour operators in the Japan, China and South Korea markets travelled to Tahiti with Air Tahiti Nui to meet local professionals (not all of whom have the opportunity to travel to the markets) and take part in two days of personalised meetings. ParauParau Tahiti – PPT is positioned as a platform for exchanges to strengthen relations with tour operators on the one hand and to optimise the marketing of the destination on the other.

Over the course of the 2 days, 1 discussion panel was also organised. This panel was open to the participants of the ParauParau Tahiti – PPT Asia with tour operators and representatives as speakers to discuss the following theme: Tahiti Tourisme Asie: Opportunities for developing the number of tourists from Japan, China and South Korea.

The two days of meetings were followed by familiarisation trips to the islands of Huahine, Bora Bora, Raiatea and Taha’a for the product managers present.

ParauParau Tahiti – PPT Asia: 29 and 30 May 2018

The 2 days took place at the Le Méridien Tahiti hotel. Being present tour operators from Japan, China and South Korea.
